While cycling arond Burgas I enjoyed Protected area "Burgas Saltworks"
The area located at the south aqua territory of Atanasovsko lake. Water areas are mainly saltwater basins and canals.
It is a combination of a protected area with a salt extraction plant with a preserved traditional way of producing sea salt.
This is where the salt crab ( Artemia salina )is found - an important element of specific salt communities and a food base for birds.
