Soon the leaves will fall

Another gloomy day in Minneapolis. The cool breeze and rain makes it feels like autumn but in a couple of days it’ll be hot and sunny again. The new season hasn’t settled in yet but I’m here waiting and ready to be styled in fall fashion. I love the rich colors, textures and layers. Recently, I took it upon myself to organize my closet and discovered that most of my wardrobe is for fall. I don’t know how I survive the winter. I ended up giving away two large bins of clothing and I still have one hanging out with items that I’d like to sell online. I already signed up for Poshmark, I just have to get around to photographing the clothes.

A little about my day so far. I woke up from wild dreams that I can’t recall. I left early for work only to discover that my normal route was closed due to construction. I probably would’ve made it to work on time but I got into a minor car accident. It was my fault. I tried changing lanes in a congested area, misjudged the distance of the car in front of me and ended up bonking it. Not much damage was done and we were both fine so I’m thankful for that. I contacted my boss and he was super chill about me coming in late. The rest of the day has been an easygoing one. The right amount of interactions between those around me. Highlight of my day is when @kommienezuspadt sends me silly memes.

I’m off in thirty. I can’t wait to get home to wind down. I have a day off tomorrow so I should plan out my morning. Editing, drawing, and catching up on the handful of projects.
