After the fireworks
I jumped right into bed.
Yesterday, I was running on less than five hours of sleep and welcomed some much needed alone time. Especially after the day’s festivities. I rolled around watching random videos to unwind and snapped a few silly photos since I was having a good makeup day.
Earlier we joined some friends to set off smaller fireworks. It was pretty chill and there were so many happy dogs to snuggle. I wanted to take some photos with an old lab named Zeus but I lost the light so maybe next time. I have a soft spot in my heart for labrador retrievers since I used to have one and grew up around a neighborhood full of them.
@guthrie had a sleepover so @kommienezuspadt and I were left on our own. We decided to take last minute photos on a hill overlooking the city. I’ll either share one of those images here on my blog or you’ll see them on his. The turned out really cute so it was worth getting eating alive by mosquitoes.
I also had a full day of fun this past Monday with @lonniedi. Her stay was brief so we packed in as much as we could. I’m working on editing those photos now and I can’t wait to get to the images from our shoot together. She looks so pretty!!
I feel that "alone" days are usually much needed after festivities or social gatherings. I love to cocoon and decompress (plus doing plenty of pup shnuggling for sure). It helps plenty when trying to come alive again haha so to speak
Glad you understand. I can get extremely irritable when I’m not given some time apart. I just wanna be in a quiet place where I can hear myself breathe. Aww, I wish I had a pup to snuggles.

I dunno how to fix the gif issue. It’s a bummer because I captures some really cool footage over this past week that would look great in a gif form.

Thanks spidey!! We were bit instantly and I was like 😳😭 Also, very high winds so the sparklers were difficult to light. Definitely worth it since you and many others enjoyed the images! <3
