Lucky Mail

Here's a short story I've read few day ago. It's kind of spooky.

The story started when one boy, Ben was checking his email, he saw a new mail entitled 'A Lucky Mail'. He clicked on the email an saw a line:

"The recipient of this email must forward it to another four new recepients within four days, otherwise he or she will meet with misfortune".

Ben was uncomfortable with the content of the mail so he forward it to four of his email contact lists randomly.

The next day, Sarah told Ben that she delete the email. Sarah said that it was just a prank and added on that Ben was so childish for believing it.

Ben was unhappy with Sarah teasing him and he didn't want to talk to her.

The next day, Sarah was absent from school. Ben got worried eventhough he still mad at her. When he went home, his mother told him that Sarah was killed in a fatal car accident, which prompted Ben to think of the 'Lucky Mail'.

He remembered Sarah told him that she received the same mail four days ago and deleted it. Four days later she met an accident. This proof that the email was not a prank. Ben found himself trembling and sweating over such horrible incident.

He did forward the email so he will be just fine, he consoled himself. Soon he forgot about the email.

Several days later, he checked his mailbox and found a notification of sending failure. He clicked and read the mail. One of his forwarded messages was not sent to his friend.

"Oh no" he thought. "This mean I only forwarded the email to three friends and not four. Today is then fourth day..."

Ben was getting goosebumps. His hand which was holding the mouse was trembling...
