It Takes Two to Tango

Yesterday I met my old friends whom I haven't met for ages. We talked about everything and anything that's happening around us.

One story caught my interest was the story about a foreign student been molested and almost got raped during her visit in the rural area. The student only told her faculty of the incident when she got back to her country. This was the first time such incident had happened. My friends were so into this topic. This is the conversation between the three of my friends, Sam, Ben and Kitty.

Sam said that it takes two to tango. It wouldn't happen if the girl don't want it. Ben is also in the same opinion as Sam. Kitty argued that it's the molester's fault for doing such thing without the victim's consent.

Tan said that its impossible that the girl didn't realised the molester was on top of her. Kitty argued that the girl was sleeping that time as it was 2AM in the morning. That night the villagers have a farewell party for the foreign students. The unsuspected molester went back home early that night and come back around 2AM to the place the foreign student sleep while everybody was sleeping. Luckily, the student woke up while the molester was in action and kicked him.

Kitty added on that it was lucky for the molester that the girl didn't report him to the police, otherwise he would be in jail now. Kitty scolded my two friends for saying the girl encourages the molester. Men always believe that women are to blame if they are sexually assaulted when drunk, being friendly or wearing a sexy dress. It reveals just how far some men without shame will put the blames on women when such incidents had happened. Kitty even stressed out the point that the molester is a married man with two kids!

I just listened to them arguing while doing my food review on Steemit aka #letseat 😛
