Basketball is one the few games that originated from America. The was invented by James Naismith in the year 1891. James Naismith started the game of basketball by hanging two baskets on the walls of a gymnasium. Today the game that was started so many years ago now have millions playing the game with over a billion followers. The game has gained prominence across Europe, Asia,Africa,America and even Australia.
