Dudamel : El cansancio pasó factura
El técnico venezolano de la Vinotinto de fútbol, Rafael Dudamel , dejó ver que fue el cansancio físico de su equipo el que pasó la factura en la derrota que el cuadro colombiano le infringió a los venezolanos.

Para Dudamel el degaste que tuvo su línea defensiva producto de las transiciones ofensivas terminó ahogando a sus jugadores que que sin mucho oxigeno "pagaron caro" el hecho de no saber ver que por momentos era necesario adelantar las líneas.
Sin embargo, Dudamel destacó el hecho que sus pupilos había sido "atrevidos" y llevaron a cabo un juego "juego vertical", lo que se materializó en el gol de Darwin Machís al minuto 4 de iniciado el partido.
En este contexto, Dudamel solicitó "tiempo", y calma, para ver los frutos del trabajo planificado pues solamente más partidos llevarán a tener mejores "sincronizaciones" y así "jugar más compacto". señalaba el técnico venezolano en su rueda de prensa luego del partido.
