She is missing from me
Original poem by me
As time is dripping still upon the window,
My limbs clench tightly in restlesness
Feeling that I can barely bear,
The burning sorrow ripping through my chest.
My fellow arm is kneeling right before me,
With tears asking for consent,
To banish the darkness devouring me
So that I may sleep in, to forget.
Alas, permission shall not come to thee,
My gallant friend of olden times,
For I prefer the molten dusk within my heart
To the bland embrace of emptiness.
