I think I missed the origin of photos like these. I suppose it must be something like a festival or fair. Now, why do they do it, beyond the fact that Europe was the space of the medieval age (not America, of course)? Umberto Eco, the well-known theorist, said, when speaking of the so-called "postmodernity", that this was a visit to the medieval. Son muy buenas tus fotos, pues captan lo, patético de estos personajes. Your photos are very good, because they capture the pathetic of these characters.
People back then like they didn't know how to laugh! Don't you think so? They all have shrunken faces, frowning! They look like they were taken from a war movie or a mafia movie. Those are glasses? Were there eyeglasses for the time? or are they two huge holes in which people can get lost. I think I might have nightmares about these images. Greetings and hugs, @velimir.
Really unpleasant these features and gestures in those wax people. The light and shadows in your photos make them interesting, @velimir.
