'Walking In Sunshine'
There is a nice peaceful area in the centre of the city. Well, there are more than one. But, this one is special. The abundance of plants guarantees a peaceful moment. Some use it to reflect, others to walk or sit in the warm sun.
The wooden house is closed. Large wood houses are not common in this part of the world. We use bricks and concrete, as opposed to wood. I believe it comes from the frame of mind. Wood is something not meant to last, therefore bricks are prefered.
In the States, people regularly build wood houses. They are aware that it doesn't need to last forever. Here the houses are built to last for generations. An interesting difference worthy of deeper consideration.
As I walk among the plants, I'm enjoying the warm sunny day. Some people like to complain about the weather. So useless. Isn't it much easier to accept whatever it's given? It will not go away from complaining about it, will it?
I'd find beauty in the rain if it was falling, just the same.

Very good when in the center of the city there is a natural place where you can get away. For residents of the city this is an excellent relaxing zone that gives a feeling of unity with nature. I'm not a supporter of big cities, but being in a big city I like to visit parks. I like to enjoy nature.
Excellent remark about the wooden houses. Indeed, in this part of the planet, houses made of bricks and concrete are common. There are a lot of old buildings that have survived due to this. But there is also a building made of large logs, but these are predominantly village houses or estates.

That is such a pretty spot. I am not a big fan of cities in general, but love to find places like this IN cities.
Yep, we here build with wood quite frequently. Some of them are built for the long run, and last into the hundreds of years but most are two or three generation units at best. I really think it comes of A: Transitory lifestyle where most don't consider staying in one place all that long and B: Resources. We have trees, and 100 years ago seemed to have so many trees that we could never run short.
We bought a 100 year old house that was built to last. It still had the original cedar shake roof on it, and part of our purchase was the consideration that it would need a roof. It didn't. We never changed it, though we had planned to put copper or steel on it. The craftsmanship and quality was undeniable.

What a beautiful collection of images sir @velimir, when there are a cold weather and you are fucked with snow falling. and then suddenly sun appears and you are walking to garden or any other place and sunshine is falling on your face, and you are enjoying the sunshine, One of the best feeling you can ever have, It would be good if you are in a garden and greenery everywhere, sun is throwing his sunshine, Fresh air everywhere, I am feeling the effect of freshness, and feeling the shine, at the time of writign comment, my eyes are close and i am considering my self in the garden and enjoying the lovely weather,

Too muh relaxing places. Specially when it comes to nature, nothing is more relaxing as nature has its own potential in it that no other thing has. But the pictures taken are may be too much noisy aur pixelated. Or may be contrast level and brightness level is not adjusted properly. Any way this is the best thing....... Nature.!!!!
