Decentralization in Blockchain Technology
Decentralization concept was not new but there should have been a system to find or establish the system of Decentralization in the network. The problems of centralization have been widespread in this recent world even in the digital version of the world. So decentralization is the need of time due to several incidents and manipulations in this world in history. The need for decentralization is not easy to achieve. Blockchain technology comes here as a blessing for the establishment of decentralization technology in real existence.
Blockchain technology has a lot of influence and impact on the decentralization of any system. Today I am going to share with you some understanding of decentralization in different technology and sectors.
Blockchain technology has emerged as a revolutionary force to solve some major problems of traditional systems like transparency and security. The main pillar and concept of blockchain technology is decentralization. Decentralization is the distribution of control, authority, and decision-making across a network. Centralization means it is controlled by the central authority. In traditional centralized systems, such as banks or government institutions, a central entity has ultimate control over the entire network. On the other hand, decentralization in blockchain means that power is dispersed among a multitude of nodes or participants.
Blockchain is a decentralized ledger. The recording of transactions and information is maintained in this ledger across a network of computers. Each participant in the network, known as a node, holds a copy of the entire blockchain. Transactions are verified and added to the ledger through a consensus mechanism. To verify that transactions the majority of nodes must agree on the validity of a transaction. This ensures that no single entity has absolute control over the system. In this way blockchain technology is ensuring decentralization and with that, it is inherently resistant to manipulation and censorship.
