A Dusky Harbor ( A Poem )
In a dusky harbor a ship set sail,
Overlooking the oceans so vast, so heavy,
The clouds are red with the sun setting.
With the blow of its horn the ship signals:
It's time to go, to halt no more,
To cross the seas, of a long journey,
A thousand miles of water and waves.
Before long the ship is gone,
The quietness had returned to the dusky harbor.
And soon a ship arrives:
The harbor beams with life once more,
With people going in and out of the harbor doors.
A bustling sound of voices and car,
The endless traffic, from places afar.
