Homestead Beginning to Come Back to Life
Good evening, Steemians!
I’ve been pretty busy lately coaching tennis after school and today I went outside my house and saw that a lot of my fruit trees and others are beginning to come back to life since the near freeze a few weeks ago. Here is basically an update in pictures.
One of our mangos putting out new growth
One of our countless Mulberry clones we’ve made putting out ‘flowers’ which will all turn into fruit!
Small longan coming back
A lychee coming back
A smaller Nam Wah banana
Hamlin Orange tree beginning to put out what will be Orange blossoms!
Loquat (thank you James for giving this to us a couple years ago)
Soursop
Moringa
Prickly pear
Baby Prickly pear
I’m so happy that things are coming back! I was really worried some of my stuff would die. All it took were two good rains in a span of 2-3 weeks and stuff is just popping back to life!!! Hope you guys enjoyed the pictures! Have a great weekend!
Wow! That looks great. No if we could just get rid of this snow!
Nice to see your vegetation coming back. Have a good weekend!
I envy you for the warm climate plants you are able to grow. Happy to see the cold didn’t kill your plants.
It will be weeks and even months before we can find out what survived our winter. There was no snow cover during some of the coldest nights.
