Getting in a Workout Routine Feels Friggen Awesome...
Good morning, Steemians!
It's literally been since college (6-7 years ago) that I had a solid workout routine every single day. I guess I forgot how good it can feel to work the thyroid, sweat, and lift weights. I do cardio every single day, usually for 30-60 minutes, and then every other day I do triceps, biceps, and chest. Since my legs are already beautiful, I do skip leg day, much like this guy:
Now, I haven't been posting a lot of things at the gym because a lot of people who work out (or don't work out) won't give two shitz. Also, I don't want to get to this level:
Anyway, today I dug a little deeper and did more reps than I usually do. I felt pretty dead right after, you know that feeling where you can't even lift your arms?
I also played some basketball with this overly helpful guy who wouldn't shut up lol... I was just trying to shoot some hoops at the open gym, but dude wouldn't stop talking to me. I eventually just had to walk away and go to the weight room, to which he didn't have a membership.
Anyway, it feels really REALLY good to get back in the groove of things, if you know what I'm talking about. I can breathe through both nostrils again for the first time in the longest time. My body loves what I'm doing to it, and trust me, I don't look like this guy anymore:
Thanks for stopping by, Steemians! Enjoy your Sunday coffee!
cardio for 30-60 minutes? i can't even do all the exercise for 15 minutes without a break. for a note i am really small... and also little
Good job. Nothing like hitting the weights in my opinion. Just don't let yourself turn into chickens legs like the guy in the pic!
