Meatless meatballs in a wrap
Ingredients:
Green lentils
Potato
Onion
Zucchini
Carrot
Garlic
Dry yeast inactive
Flour
Parsley
Cumin, Curcuma, salt, pepper, paprika, your fav's.
The proportion on this are very simple, you just simply take lentils and boil them, let them cool off afterwards. The amount of lentils was about hall or less a bit, the vegetables i used where almost dry so i added a few drops of oil too.
I have put all the vegetables on a fine grate then took the water out as much as i could.
I mixed them all in a bowl and let them rest 30 minutes.
After i made small balls and pressed them softly. I have Preheated the oven, i fried the balls on each side in a very small amount of oil until they had a brown color. After i finished them i put them in the oven for another 20 other minutes because i wanted them more "oil free" , this step is absolute a must because the vegetables are not all cooked with this type of "frying".
Just wait few minutes for them to cool off then you can wrap them in salad, or simple flat bread, or any other bread you like, i choose tahin, ketchup and tomatoes.
Enjoy !!!!
These look amazing! Thank you for this recipe! I've been dying to try vegan meatballs and this looks so easy that I really have no excuse now :D
They are easy, next time i plan to make them in tomato sauce.
