The Chinese King of Imperial Kingdom
Haha, i think the title was a bit over the board for a food restaurant review, but it relates to a Chinese Imperial Restaurant thou.
As a Mix chinese myself, i have been to many good chinese restaurant in my country and also other country. This will be by far the most over the board restaurant i ever been.
This is Imperial Chef located in Jakarta (around Mangga Dua area) near Chinatown. This dinner was my last day in Jakarta for work. My mates and partners decided to eat "Lavishly" on the last day of my business trip.
The main entrance on the restaurant, air conditioned, clean and spot clear of dust on those kind restaurant, cushy chairs, clean toilet and etc .
They are fresh seafood to choose from the aquarium.
Leather chairs with comfortable space and leg room, it was dinner night and i have to say it was a busy night.
in any typical chinese restaurant, all the roasted meat will presented on the transparent glass.
When we seated, my mates decided today he will order and pays the dinner, so for us , we sit back and relax .
The food that he order, for me it was just ok for a typical chinse restaurant, nothing wow!!! not so much on signature dish. Portions wise also is small, even thou we mention to cook medium or based on 6pax.
The famous chilli paste in any chinese restaurant. Love this shittt!!!

Overall i have to say i enjoy it, taste something diffrent from my Malaysia Chinese Restaurant, at least i got to trythe indo chinese style way. Nonetheless, i have to say, it freakingly expensive, for about 6 person with the portion we order as well, it was around RM850.00 / $215.00.. Dammmm it was painful, i feel for my mates.
