Symbol of faith
In the spring of 1914, during my Orthodox fast, my grandfather became, at that time, an adult, he was eleven years old, and his great-grandfather entrusted him with a tithe of donkeys to a church located in the village of Molchanovo, Tomsk region.
They harnessed the horse, put several sturgeons and pieces of meat in a sleigh, the grandfather went for 9 km along the winter road, rolled along the ice of the Ob River. In the spring in Siberia, wrapped in clouds of white fluffy snow, the sun burns the face and blinds the eyes, inspiring the arrival of a hot, but short summer.
The whole space is full of light, and people blink from the bright sunlight reflected from the sparkling snow. In this case, it seems that everyone is smiling. Grandfather was unloaded for lunch and the priest invited him to dinner. A fat borscht, cooked from pork, was served on the table, and my grandfather did not eat.
The fasting is the same! Then the priest covered his grandfather's head with his clothes, read a prayer, crossed it and a plate of fat borsch and said: "Well, everything, now you can eat." On the way back, the grandfather tore off the cross from his neck and threw it on the ice.
The symbol of the Orthodox faith is the resurrection of Christ, a stunned holiday, beautiful and hopeful for the future. Ahead of the Orthodox people, the realization of the Kingdom of Heaven is here on earth, he lives only for the sake of it.
Ready to endure hunger, not the orderliness of life, bad roads, slavery for the sake of a brighter future. An Orthodox man stands with one foot on the ground, and the other in the Kingdom of Heaven, such rippling leads to the fact that he lives in a dream, in that which does not exist.
The place of such people Dante Alighieri took away from the gates of Hell. They are suffering there for ever, their darkness. They, living with dreams, have not done anything in their lives, so there is no place in Paradise for them, there is no place for them in Hell.
Another thing is Christianity in its entirety, in its mass, so to speak. Its central symbol is the crucifixion of Christ, his torment for us, the people. And then usually people imagine that more than two thousand years ago Christ suffered for us, rose and ascended, the event was over.
Here is the fundamental thing and the difference between understanding and experience through commitment. As soon as I dwell on the symbol of the crucifixion of Christ, I delve into it, an unusual thing happens.
The experience of suffering eliminates understanding and opens the ongoing act in the world - the crucifixion of Christ. It happens every moment of my life. Two furrows are formed: on the one hand, His sufferings go on, and across - not the possibility of their cessation.
From this impossible contradiction is born the experience of compassion and participation not only to Him, but also to all people. From this begins a person, his second birth takes place and a unique phenomenon appears - the moral law. What happens when a person does not go deeper and is on the surface of himself?
There arises understanding, in it the symbol of crucifixion perishes and in general everything that could generate the moral law. Lack of experience fills the person with pathos that deprive him of the point of support. The gateway, which prevents immoral acts, is not formed, everything is possible.
From this point, faith turns into its opposite, and instead of compassion, the demons of Orthodox extremism begin to crawl out onto the surface of social life. Not having experienced initiation through the experience of the symbol of Christ, his agony on the cross, having learned the outer side of the rite, savages form communities and begin to persecute people, forcing them to accept false faith.
The world is so arranged that clever people through creativity always open the way for people to experience Christ's torment, and the gray ones first destroy them, having a label from power to unanimity and uniformity.
Then come black - Orthodox fanatics and begin to destroy everyone. When the moral law, compassion for people and humanism go away, in a strange way, a virus of Orthodox (Islamic, etc.) extremism appears and society self-destructs.
