THE NATURE OF NATURE "The Red Waterfall is as flaming as a fire in the United States"

in #art7 years ago

Horsetail Waterfall, also known as "waterfall fire", is one of the most spectacular sightings of Yosemite National Park in California.

In the middle of February every year, crowds of tourists and photographers gather in Yosemite National Park to witness the Horsetail Falls as it flows from the summit of El Capitan. Although only a short 10 minute period, it is well worth the thousands of visitors to see it.

From a distance, the Horsetail Falls looks like it is pouring down a torrent of lava flowing down the foothills of El Capitan.

Horsetail is a pure waterfall of about 620 m high, flowing only in a certain season in early spring. The source of the water is the amount of snow accumulated on Mount El Capitan when the weather is warming up.

At this time, when sunsets fall, sunlight shines, plus some special natural elements, the waterfall will turn red because of the phenomenon of light refraction. The natural elements combined perfectly create an amazing natural setting that can only be seen in Yosemite.

The Yosemite Valley was discovered by explorers in 1851, and mentioned its natural wonders, but the "firefight" was never mentioned.

Horsetail falls are just a short 10-minute fire.

In 1973, photographer Galen Rowell took the first photograph of the "firefighting". However, it was not widely known until the digital camera revolution and the development of the Internet.

As email, blogging and social networking flourished in the early years of the 21st century, the impressive image of the Horsetail Falls was spread around the world and became widely known.
