NATURE #1: Exotic plants all over the planet

in #art7 years ago

The blood color, leafy when exposed, eating meat or smelling bad smell are strange features found in many kinds of plants on earth.

Hydnellum peckii: Hydnellum peckii is a special fungus that produces a bloody red liquid on its surface. Shape like a tooth that makes it nicknamed "bleeding teeth". This exotic mushroom lives mainly in North America and Europe. Fungus is non-toxic, edible but few eat because of the unpleasant odor and bitter taste of the red liquid.

Doll eye: The doll's eye is the call of Actaea pachypoda or Baneberry, a small fruit tree native to North American forests. This name comes from the same shape as the doll's eyes. Actaea pachypoda is 60 cm tall, with very few leaves. Red trunk, small fruit bunches into white beams, black dots look pretty nice. However, the fruit of this plant is quite toxic, can be fatal.

Baseball cactus: This baseball- like succulent plant has its origins in South Africa. The average tree height is 20 cm. Baseball is protected by the conservation agency South Africa Flora and Fauna for rare. This is also a poisonous plant that can cause skin problems.

Welwitschia Mirabilis is the only tree found in the Namibian desert. The life expectancy of this exotic plant is estimated at 500 to 1,500 years. The tree can survive the harsh, hot weather of the desert. The most interesting thing about Welwitschia is that only two leaves develop continuously for thousands of years.

Live stone Lithop: The shape is like a pebble that makes the Lithop tree originating in South Africa called by many names: Da Song, Thạch Lan, Pebbles, Pebbles. In fact, the unique shape of this plant is formed by merging the outer edges of the individual leaf. Flowers will blossom between two pieces of this leaf. This wild plant thrives in the rainy season and can live up to more than 50 years.

Virgin: Virgin is a small tree species native to South America, also known as the shy tree, the timid tree because of its leafy nature when it comes to external influences. The characteristic "shame" is that under the petiole there is a thin tissue system filled with water. When this happens, the water immediately accumulates at the tip of the leaf, causing the leaves to turn quickly and return to normal after a few minutes.

Corpse Corpse: Corpse lives in the jungle of Sumatra, Indonesia, is a large and very heavy flower. The scent of this 40-year-old flowering plant resembles the smell of decaying meat, which can smell for several kilometers. But rare, this tree is very protected.

Rafflesia Arnoldii: This is the largest flower in the world. Like the Corpse Flower, Rafflesia Arnoldii is found in the jungle of Sumatra, Indonesia. The scent of this flower also makes the viewer grimace, nose cover when approaching. Rafflesia arnoldii is a bisexual plant with both male and female reproductive organs.

Venus fly is a species of carnivorous plant. The two edges of the thorny leaves will close when flies or small insects crawl. Then a mucus is secreted to consume the prey for 10 days.

The cap is another type of carnivorous plant native to Southeast Asia. The tail of the leaf forms a small funnel filled with mucus, scent, attracting insects. This tree can even "mice" a rat.
