The Process of Squeezing Coconut Milk

Seeing the process of squeezing the coconut milk in traditional markets. We choose the coconut that will be shredded as needed. Then the service of grated coconut meat and pressing done by simple technology by seller. I shot photographs while shopping at Lhokseumawe City market, Aceh with my wife.

Here's the process of squeezing coconut milk, it looks common in the markets in Aceh.
A mature coconut will be grated
Grate tool coconut , electrically driven
Pressing process. A specially designed tool from the jackstand of bottle jack type. And Grated coconut is put into a juice cloth.
The lump of grated coconut meat, we call it keureumeuh.
The word keureumeuh, also used for figurative language in the Aceh language. Interpreted with something that is not useful or something that is not important, and chaotic mind.
