Let me tell you why our concept of love is wrong
LOVE
The most wanted thing on the planet. To be loved and to love someone. It is said that life is boring when you can't share the good moment with the one you love. It's that feeling that makes us strive to achieve for something more than ourselves. Placing someone before us. To some extent finding a mate in your life is mandatory, not only socially standardized, but chemically requested due to our hormones, driving us forward to reproduce our species.
THE WRONG LOVE
I must say that to some extent I am disappointed in today's social interpretation of love. People think that they own each other just like a living object, with a readable value to it. Be it, it's beauty or it's other positively seen qualities.
We are souls in bodies. Do you love the soul or the machine that it's operating.
Do you love its ability to sustain the machine or the outcome of that ?
The correct word for what most people are experiencing masked as LOVE is actually lust and fear, combined to drive us forwards towards finding someone because we don't have ourselves.
True Love
True love is actually peace. Allowing the one you love to do as he pleases and having no judgement afterwards towards his or her actions. You don't have the right to obstruct someone from experiencing something his heart desires, even if it doesn't fit your construct of that persons behavioral mechanics, that are actually an illusion in your mind that is created so you don't destroy yourself. A defensive response mechanism.
If you love someone do it unconditionally. If he she wants to sleep with someone rather than you, support him. At the end he/she will see how much you value the person and feel bad. Understand that love is unconditional and is freedom. If there is true love between two people there will never be any resorts towards negative decision-making.
For one to love another he must first understand how to love himself, as we project ourselves onto others and visa versa.
HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS ARE BASED ON PEACE

I often think of Love as something bigger than human emotions.. as if.. it is what holds up and drives everything in creation!.. it is to me the reason the Sun attracts the planets and the trees reach towards the Sun and it is whats left when you remove everything ells !
it is maybe a strange place to mention this but I remember in the coverage of 9/11 hearing phone calls from people that were trapped in the world trade center towers and knowing they were facing death people instinctively reached for there phones to call loved ones ..... when you remove everything ells all that is left is love and the need to make it known
Yes! If you love somebody there is no reason why you love that person. You are just happy in his or her presence.
