Opening The Heart Chakra
Chakras are where energy flows in and out of you. There are seven Chakras on your body, and virtually all of your challenges come down to the fact that they are out of balance.
Many of us are working hard in the 21st century to redefine the way we relate to others, especially in our primary and love relationships.
Previously, relationships were conducted in the lower three Chakras.
This means that most relationships were a “trade off” centered on money (Root chakra), sex (Sacral chakra) and power/social status (solar-plexus chakra).
Whatever feelings and emotions brought people together; they would inevitably end up in power struggles centered on money, sex, and control.
In other words, humans were not vibrating high enough, or evolved high enough, to sustain their relationships in the heart chakra, where the spirit, soul, and unconditional love reside.
Now fast forward to the middle of the 20th century, and we’ve all seen MASSIVE changes in traditional relationships. Many of the traditional assumptions have changed. It’s no longer, “Man makes money, trades it for sex, and woman stays home to cook, clean, and make babies.”
We’re slowly evolving.
And all great changes are preceded by CHAOS.
Think of the sexual liberation of the sixties, the feminist movement of the seventies, and AIDS in the eighties.
CHAOS.
And here we are now, moving into the Heart Chakra.
You’re ready to take it up a notch, and into the heart.
Many people are still AFRAID to open their Heart Chakras.
Afraid because this will make them SENSITIVE AND VULNERABLE.
The solution?
TAKE NO SHIT FROM PEOPLE.
Not to be cold, but if you’re dating a girl and you start letting her into your heart, but she needs to be out night after night shaking her ass in the clubs…
You may need to let her go. YOU’RE ready, but she isn’t. And you need to honor that.
Because when you take it up a notch and start screening for girls that have a lot of heart energy, and walking away from the one’s that aren’t there yet, OH MY GOD.
A whole new world opens up.
Want to know the greatest indicator of heart-energy?
SENSE OF HUMOR.
Yep. If they laugh at all of your dorky jokes and make you feel like a million bucks, go for it. They have tons of heart energy – the Heart Chakra is opening. But if they get bored and uptight whenever you try to crack a joke…
The other thing is, and I see this in my social circle on a daily basis, is the “nice guy” who attracts a “poor me”. You are mistaking a “poor me” with heart energy.
Stop it! Learn how to spot these people and to let them go, creating harm onto no one.
The other thing is that you need to start accepting yourself AS YOU ARE.
I keep hearing this question over and over again:
“Hey V., I’m a socially proofed Ken Doll accountant with money and good pectorals dating Barbie the bartender who is a 9.2 with a pretty nice ass. Now my question is about “heart”…”
LOL.
Guys have been asking me these questions, desperately wanting to open their hearts.
But they’re afraid.
OF COURSE they are afraid!
they’re afraid because they look back at all the times they started to open their heart and it was trampled on and beaten down and cheated on and they go, “I better keep it closed. I don’t want to be a wussy loser like I was.”
The thing is, when they were a “wussy”, they opened their heart, but they let Barbie the catty slut-monger come in and take over. They became vulnerable to her “pussy power”.
Now if you recognize this, and you’re aching to open it back up again, but those memories keep resurfacing of when you were “too nice.”…
The thing is that you weren’t nice to YOURSELF. You essentially felt that you were lacking in the Ken doll department, so you put up with Barbie and her crap to “make up for” what you MISTAKENLY thought you were lacking in.
But the only thing you are lacking is COURAGE. And the irony is that this courage is found in your heart! But you are already perfect, just the way you are.
As you open your heart chakra, you will begin to know this. As you begin, you ego will go, “You’re only fooling yourself you conceited jerk! You’re not perfect. Look at all the Ken doll attributes that you’re lacking!”
But you’re NOT a conceited jerk, and there is more to you than meets the muscles and pocketbook. You’re a divine soul that came to earth millions of years ago to learn the lessons of duality.
That’s DUALITY.
You know -- good vs. evil. Dark vs. light. Anger vs. compassion. Yin vs. Yang. Love vs. fear.
DUALITY is the reality of the 3rd dimensional world. And it is a painful reality which causes you to feel SEPARATE. But realize this: Only the strongest most advanced souls were able to come to earth and live this experience known as duality.
As you open up your heart chakra, it’s going to feel wonderful (and scary). But stay the course. What you don’t realize is that you have the strength of a lion in there. All these guys who think they are “alpha men”… what a JOKE! They live in the material world of ego comparisons and judgment.
They don’t know what real strength is (yet)…
