We are back with the first CryptoPub image I ever made in 2017 and at the start of another work week. I can't think of anything I would rather do than to check the state of crypto on a Monday morning, especially when the next real bull run happens.

A slight correction under very low trade volume today as Bitcoin is down a third of a point from yesterday but still hanging on over 4k. Privacy coins Dash and ZCash are the sole green spots on my ticket today and I would not be surprised to see Monero follow suit by the end of the day. Litecoin has done well compared to other major coins the last couple weeks but is correcting a little harder this morning down almost 3% from this point yesterday. In the Poodle Race of entertaining alts, we have ELF modestly in the lead hanging tough at even while FunFair is down almost 4% on the day.

The 24-hour daily chart looks to be correcting back down out of overbought/overvalued on the STOCH so I like to look at the 12-hour chart to see how it compares. There are signs that the 40-day support may hold again but the room to drop on the STOCH and the incoming downward cross on the MACD are probably cause for some concern/opportunity. Rose-colored glasses make the stop of the drop happen somewhere near the $4,000 level where the support line meets the Bollinger median (purple) line. Conservative bears will look for a break of the 40-day support line, but a bounce off the lower Bollinger line where it meets the 50-day moving average line (yellow.) Optimistic and aggressive bears will be looking at the 90-day support line and a few days of higher volume red. Should be interesting to watch as the week goes on!
