🔵1. How many flavors of ice cream are there?

Pero la variedad de sabores de helados se ha multiplicado con el paso de los años y las opciones parecen no tener fin.

🔵2. Why do humans like ice cream so much?

The soft textures, the bright colors, the sweet and refreshing flavors, are elements that cause great pleasure in the human brain.

Ice cream combines all these characteristics, producing in our brain pleasant sensations of well-being and pleasure.

In addition, ice cream contains substances called Tryptophan and Casein.

The first stimulates the production of serotonin, a hormone that inhibits the symptoms of depression, while Casein helps reduce anxiety and stress levels, making ice cream a great antidepressant and anxiolytic.

Las texturas suaves, los colores brillantes, los sabores dulces y refrescantes, son elementos que causan gran placer en el cerebro humano.

El helado reune todas esta características, produciendo en nuestro cerebro sensaciones agradables de bienestar y placer.

Además, el helado, contiene unas sustancias llamadas Triptófano y Caseína.

La primera estimula la producción de serotonina, hormona que inhibe los síntomas de la depresión, mientras que la Caseína ayuda a disminuir los niveles de ansiedad y estres, convirtiendo al helado en un estupendo antidepresivo y ansiolítico.

Sin embargo, en el mundo gastronómico es ampliamente aceptada la tesis de que el nacimiento de este cremoso postre se originó en China, y que en principio fue un privilegio exclusivo de las clases más privilegiadas, pero con el paso del tiempo se fue perfeccionado y extendiéndose por todo el país.

Asimismo, se le atribuye a personajes como Marco Polo, Alejandro Magno y Catalina Medici haber extendido por otras latitudes el consumo del helado.

🔵4. What was the first ice cream shop in history?

The place considered as the first ice cream parlor in history was called "Café Procope" and opened in Paris in 1686.

Its owner, the Italian Francesco Procopio Dei Coltelli had invented in 1660 a rudimentary machine that managed to mix sugar, ice and sugar in a homogeneous way resulting in a refreshing cold cream.

However, it was the North American Nancy Jhonson who designed an automatic ice cream maker in 1846, which marked the beginning of the industrialization of ice cream.

El local considerado como la primera heladería de la historia se llamaba "Café Procope" y abrió sus puertas en París en el año 1686.

Su dueño, el italiano Francesco Procopio Dei Coltelli había inventado en 1660 una rudimentaria máquina que lograba mezclar de manera homogénea el azucar, el hielo y la azúcar dando como resultado una refrescante crema fría.

Sin embargo, fue la Norteaméricana Nancy Jhonson quien diseño una máquina automática de hacer helados en 1846,lo que significó el inicio de la industrialización del helado.

Si existe y no sólo eso, además existe un día especial para celebrar el día del helado de cada uno de los sabores más populares, chocolate, vainilla y fresa.

Así entonces:

🍦 El 7 de Junio se celebra el Día del Helado de Chocolate y comenzó a celebrarse desde 1846.

🍦 El 15 de Enero es el Día del Helado de Fresa.

🍦 El 23 de Julio es el turno del Helado de Vainilla.
