Blue emperor (Anax imperator)
yesterday in Prague park Stromovka on the bank of blind branch of Vltava river.
It is surprisingly what lives in Prague, despite I admit I would much better like to walk nature far from Prague.

I am not expert on dragonfly. First determination was incorrect.

I think this is a blue emperor (Anax imperator). The one you mention is smaller and has a matte blue, powdery colour.

It was a really big dragonfly, prominent.
Looking at Google again, you are right. It must be blue emperor (Anax imperator)
These can have a body up to about 8cm long, they are the biggest species in The Netherlands, and maybe beyond.

Hopefully I would be able to recognize dragonfly better one day.
