RE: Musing Posts

in #musing-threads6 years ago

It's a good question, and I must admit that I'm getting more and more tempted to deleting it all together. There are still a few things that hold me back, such as:

- Everyone is on Facebook! It's great if I need to contact a co-worker that I don't have the e-mail address to, or if I want to send a short message to a distant relative.

- Messenger is actually a great app for chatting. And again, I have everyone on it already, so I can chat with anyone without any hassle.

- There are some groups there that actually creates and share good content. They are few and far between, but I have a nice feed of stuff I like by now.

So these are some of my reasons for still staying with Facebook, despite the fact that they are selling my data to anyone who is willing to pay them.

I've noticed that was my problem in the beginning and everyone else has it but much harder than me, from what I have seen. But I got over it very quickly. If you need me, you got my number, call me.

I'm almost certain that messenger apps also do the same to some extent though.
