Road to 100000 Steem Power & Self-Improvement Log Day 147
This is my journey towards 100000 Steem Power Day 146 with no prior investments! (Meaning I started on Steem with 0 account value!). I am a very dedicated individual and I want you guys to be a part of my journey to get you motivated and to learn from my mistakes!
Besides my daily description of what I did to reach that goal today, I will also use this as a "journal" to keep track of my other personal goals.
If you have any suggestions, want to help or work together with me or just want to leave feedback then just write that in the comments.
What I did Today to Reach my Goal
Today I wrote a post about what it takes to write 2 posts per day for 150 days in a row. And the answer is controversial. You can read the full post HERE or watch the video only version below.
Training - Reach 90KG with 12% Bodyfat by July 2018
No official training today, but tomorrow again with my friend Andreas. I have printed a plan for his Saturday strength workout with me so he can write down his progress.
Diary
Woke up and being productive, you know how I roll. However, I have spent a considerable amount thinking about my life. After watching Starship Troopers yesterday I was moved in a way I wasn't moved before.
Rico, the main character in the movie displays the most courageous man, something that I want to be in a very nice action-packed story.
It kinda shocked me.
I am living here isolated because I am chasing my fitness, money and spiritual goals. But what about the stories that people will talk about me 50-100 years when I am dead? Living by myself ain't the answer and I know that.
I got this "Fear of Missing out" feeling and it is true. A life without good loyal friends that you can call brothers ain't that great.
"Yeah, I don't need them herp derp" I can live without them but it doesn't feel that great, to be honest.
So I came to the conclusion that to build my brotherhood I have to first form strong relationships with other men and continue from that point.
Sadly I haven't found those yet but my gym buddy with which I train tomorrow is a very mentally strong person.
Leads his own landscaping business & ex-military, he is honestly more courageous than I am and he is quite good at what he does.
Besides that, I consider him a very loyal and mature person. Even if he doesn't believe in the Norse gods he at least knows that Odin is the Viking god.
I realized that "brothers" don't need to agree on everything with me and I don't want that, it would make me weak.
So my social end goal is to build a house near the forest, and build another one next to it and get my brothers in there.
Like that, I will build a solid brotherhood with other men who I can call brothers with which I can go on "high adventure with".
That video below gave me a lot of answers, I urge you to ignore their threatening looks and listen to what they say, these men are living legends.

A Saga is built from the experiences that we have with one another living life. Life cannot be defined my the amount of days lived. It's all about the experiences that we have.
I think before a Saga can be built of our own, we need to honor the Saga of our fathers, grandfathers and ancestors before them. The oldest stories will become the most vague and it does so faster because people do not keep track. It is common for people to even become disconnected with their immediate parents.
I am a South African man of European descent. I think what I need to do is to collect all the stories of my family and my people here so I can reclaim the cultural identity of my Clan.
That I think is even a note-worthy thing to post about. A kind of modern day skald. If this can become a tradition in your family, then the children will learn to do the same. They will tell your Saga. The things you did and said.
That is a very nice thought Zak.
Absolutely agree with what you said.
And I will do the same, I will add it to my spiritual practice goals.
A family is good. A house or two even better. I sense that if you took some time on just a sketch pad and started drawing what that woman looks like and the home you will build, you will be that much closer to your goal. I have done this before and the subconscious mind goes into action...with opportunities that did not appear before.
Excellent honest vid and post.
Thank you, I will do that!
I completely agree. Though we can live without friends, it would be very lonely to do so. Having people you can call friends or brothers is definitely better. That is why I like your plan to create your own brotherhood. Having brothers that shares the same interest with you is great and a lot of fun. Making a brotherhood won't be easy but if you put your mind in it, I'm sure you can do it. Good luck and I wish you a pleasant day.
Thank you Vegaron.
Agree with everything you said.
Have a nice day as well.
You definetly need some good people around you, you don't need many, just one good friend for life is also enough. I am glad that you think of building up your life in a very matured way compared to your age, which I dont see in many.
I miss my dearest friend with who I was always together but she is now settled in another country :(
Oh noes, that sucks.
I hope you find a new friend soon.
What I have realized is that too many people nowadays break relationships and friendships too quickly...
I know some people who are friends since they were 13 who are now 30, that has become absolutely rare.
Ohhh I dont think I can ever get close to anyone now in friendship, I have tried also but my problem is I keep looking for a same type of person and it never hapoens. I know this is my grey area :(
I am not good at keeping friendships either, I have too high standards.
Besides that, I cut of friends quickly when they piss me off because I like to be alone anyway.
But that is not healthy and stupid. I am currently trying to not make the same mistake as I did in the past with very good people.
I guess we sail in the same boat :)))
I hope the changes happen for good
It is my responsibility to get that belief out of my mind that you always have to like your friends.
That belief is actually very childish.
Yet most people do exactly that. Well anyway, I have a chance to not do it again.
Well, he just canceled the gym day to sleep.
Doesn't mean he will always do that, I will ask again next Saturday.
(I will still lift tho).
Fortunately I don't have any breakups, just due to different educations and transfers, my friends split. And though I still have contacts from friends from 90's and 00's.
Hi @valorforfreedom
Everybody wants friends to be loyal. Actually a few loyal friends are enough for the life. I see many people having many friends, but I cannot call them they are their real friends.
I liked the house idea. But wherever we have good people around us [they may not agree with everything of our thoughts, but they should respect, and soft express if they want to suggest something else and they should listen what we want to tell....], we can live happily and peacefully.

I agree with that RKM.
I think it is normal for people to have different beliefs, and frankly that's okay too. A friend that always agree with you is not a friend but a "yes" man. What important is that he is loyal and trustworthy. On the other hand I am once again awe with your determination. Just to reach your goal, you are willing to live in solitude. For a social person like me it would be very dufficult. I guess this is why you have been very successful til now. Lastly, your plan to build a house near the forest with another house next to you to house your brothers is great. It will difinitely build solidarity among brothers.
Thank you Chadrona, very good comment and I agree with what you said.
Friends that say no and who are harsh when required are worth more than all the "yes" man in the world combined.
I completly agree with you, about video where you talk about what it takes to write 2 posts per day, great things requires much more passion and effort than everyone thinks it does.
Core of this "fuel", I belive, is dependent on person, for You it is being religious for others it is different, but nevetheless if it is good for such a person and he or she embraces it, that's good.
Keep it up!
It is still a fact to me that a religious man has more willpower and discipline than an Atheist.
100000 Steem Power crazy amount! anyway good luck and keep going with that
Yes, it is quite crazy but not impossible.
Congratulations for the rewards....
You have occurred powerful power as strongly.
So, I'm finding your paths for me. And walking with you something want to know about grow up.
Thanks for the legendary work.
Keep it up
Best of luck
