Self-Improvement and Witness Update Day 166 - Training & Gathering Votes

166 days of training, posting, reading and making mulah. Today's training was not that great. My pull-ups were weak and my back kinda feels like it is getting sore, never experienced that in 166 days, maybe there is some unexpected super growth of super sayajin level 2 happening? Only Thor knows.
Witness Update
I created a folder to track how long I am a witness for know, how much I paid for the servers and how much Steem power I made by processing blocks. Today I talked with @qurator again and we will do the interview on Sunday!
More people will know how and why we have become witnesses and @Qurator will, of course, talk about Qurator!
Diary
Setting the wake up clock to 1 hour later is good so far, I have an easier time waking up! I have tried this cycle: 21:30 - 05:00 and it is too hardcore for my body which I understand.
I lift heavy weights 4x per week and my body simply needs more sleep to heal the torn muscle fibers, from this point of view it makes complete sense.
Besides that, I am networking with more and more people and helping them to improve Steemit and to gather more votes for my witness so that I can break even.
When I get into the profit zone Steemschool.net will get SEO & Mobile optimized + I will start contests where people can win SBD or Steem!

I'm not an expert when it comes to training at all but since I know you are not afraid to push yourself on a physical and spiritual level, an extra hour of sleep can vastly benefit your body and state of mind.
Hopefully you will see your strength returning in the next couple of days.
It will come back, I am certain of that.
Body just requires more sleep when you lift weights, to regenerate.
True, you are probably lifting more than you ever have so it's only logical that your body needs more sleep in order to get to the next level.
^Thats it
I think getting plenty of sleep (as much as you need) is time well spent. I notice that I drag around on days when I haven't slept well or enough. Nice to hear about what's happening as a witness. I'll spread the word.
I have to think more about sleep in general, I will probably have to add another hour and make it 21:30 - 07:00.
Thank you for spreading the word Peggy.
Good thing that extra hour of sleep is making wonders for you, don't know if you take but ZMA actually decreases the number of hours I sleep, it has different results in different people, some say they sleep an extra 2 hours because of it, while others say it decreases their normal sleep time by 2 hours, in my case it decreases and makes my recovery much faster than normal, so if you want you can give it a try and see
Since you need to sleep with the blinds shut off you could try one of those light lamps alarm clocks things like the one in this site https://www.lifewire.com/best-light-therapy-alarm-clocks-4137028 , i always try to wake up with the sun instead of the alarm clock, the alarm clock is there just as plan B
Legit advice mate. I take Zinc, Vitamin D3, Magnesium and Creatine.
I have heard many people having problems falling asleep if they do not take Vitamin D3 early which makes sense because Vitamin D3 is a hormone which has a big effect on the body.
I take vit d3 a couple of hours before going to bed, never had problems falling asleep, but it's probably because im tired after the workout, i could probably fall asleep with a dose of caffeine going straight to my arteries
I take, ZMA, Vit d3, multivit, creatine, omega3, animal flex(one every couple of days), whey protein and pre workout mostly during the summer holidays
HAHA, you stackin hard fam making dat mulah i c.
@valorforfreedom Well that is a basic tipp. Never smoke weed before the work is done. Hahaha So true. Everybody that does will be unsuccessful at a 98% rate. Except for people like Snoop Dogg or Cypress Hill, these people run on weed.
Weed is a blessing to me, it stops the anger for a day and calms me down, it forces me to calm down and I really appreciate that. It rejuvenates me and I am really thirsty for grinding the next day.
I also use weed only once per week and often I just stop smoking at all, sometimes I don't touch weed for years.
@valorforfreedom
That's exactly like me. While I use it against panic attacks and depression at very bad phases i didn't touch it for years and do it maybe one week on some days in a year when i do it. It's a real good medicine to calm down and rearrange your thoughts, but i can't do it for too long because not getting things done afterwards sucks big time on the long run.
I agree with that.
Especially the next day feels weird but you can still get stuff done, its not like alcohol.
But I realize my brain ain't at 100% yet still slightly stoned.
I think I will stop again very soon and not smoke again for years.
Yeah it's good to get enough sleep bro. Especially when you're exercising and working hard.
Right
Thanks for helping training & gathering votes with the witness!
