Jeepney Phase Out - Editorial Catoon

From the start of Presedient Rodrigo Roa Duterte's administration until now, a lot of laws and implementations were implemented. Jeepney Phase Out is one of those implementations. But what is Jeepney Phase Out?

It is an implementation where old jeepneys are being confiscated/taken from business. Why? I think Digong wants to renew all old jeepneys for the economy's improvement. Some jeepneys in the Philippines are very old and nearly retiring because of its damage. But drivers' disagrees to this implementation. Why is that? Because the government asks for financial help to buy new jeepneys. That is why rallies are being held all over Luzon region.

In my opinion, this implementation could help our society and economy rise up. How would Jeepney Phase Out would help our economy to grow? By being presentable. Presentable things tend to be looked at because it satisfies our eyes. By being presentable, more tourist will be satisfied and may invite more foreigners in the Philippines! That is what the people that protest against this implementation don't see. They only see what is in their faces, not what they may see in the future.
