LA TANNERIE / Original composition for Jazz trio
This is a composition I recorded this weekend for a Jazz trio; Drum, Double Bass and Piano.
I wanted to add a solo on top from a fourth instrument but I restrained myself from doing so because I thought the trio form had enough strength to carry this particular melodic idea without help.
Tannerie is the french translation of tannery which is the place where the skins from animals are processed and transformed into leather.
