Greetings Steemians? These are three symbols that you might familiar with it but wonder what's the meaning behind on that symbol? Here's some for clarification throughout the three symbols

Symbol One
Manu Cornuto/Horned Hand
Horned hand or in Italian definition Mano Cornuto is commonly depicted on charms against the evil eye. It is yet unsure whether the gesture is originated as an image of horns or as a 'poking out the eyes' against the evil eye. Through ancient lunar goddess charms depicting animal horns were used for similar protective purposes and are probably related to the gesture.

The use of the horns as a symbol of satanic belief is recent and evolved from it's used especially through heavy metal musicians and their fans It is also used occasionally by Wiccans as the symbol of 'horned God' or as the horns of the Moon Goddess, depending on the tradition.

Symbol Two
Hand Of Glory
A magical charm popular with thieves in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, it was a candle made from the dried hand of a hanged convict through a complicated recipe that included herbs, horse dung, peppers and salt. The hand would be mummified and then joined to or turned into a candle using tallow from a hanged corpse. The hand was reputed to have the power to render the occupants of a household insensible, making burglary an easy task.

Symbol Three
THE ARTIST(TAFKAP)
This symbol is served as a name for the late musician PRINCE for more than five years after a publishing dispute with his recording company Warner Brothers who left him unable to use the 'Prince' moniker- which happened to be his given name. It was adapted from the alchemical symbol for soapstone for soapstone with addition of circle as illustrated in a Dover Clip Art Book, the symbol was most likely chosen for it's resemblance to the planetary symbols of Mars and Venus, particularly fitting symbol for the androgynous artist.

The glyph was unpronounceable and caused much consternation in popular media, who took to referring to him as the former known as Prince and eventually shortened to the acronym 'TAFKAP".

Prince Rogers Nelson (June 7, 1958 – April 21, 2016)
