The legends of Metal
Steemians - here comes edition #6 of Rock Classics - the music i grew up with. Given I did a post recently about Denmark and Drums I thought it is time to appreciate Metallica with their Danish drummer Lars. Metallica I saw first in 1990 in Germany in a mind blowing open air concert together with 100,000 other crazy Germans. Will never forget. In addition I came to gather with my now wife on another Metallica concert in 2005.
About Metallica
Metallica was born in LA back in 1981 by James Hatfield and our Danish Superdrummer Lars Ulrich. Actually James did respond to an advertisement posted by Lars Ulrich in a local newspaper. Metallica are to me THE Metal legends, they even bring Heavy Metal to the stage of commercial success. As they started to cut their hair I was starting to dislike the new direction a bit but the music is still killer, guitar, bass, vocals - perfect! Check the highlights of my youth with Metallica!
