Eine Legende des Rock - manche sagen Heavy Metal, für mich ist es Hard Rock. Das erste Album was ich von AC/DC erwarb war eine Music Cassette - und zwar For Those About To Rock aus dem Jahr 1981 - dies war das 8. Album der Band. Hier der Titelsong:
Mein Lieblingsstück auf dem Album war allerdings Let's Get It Up - hier in einer Live-Version. Die Gitarren Riffs und verrückten Einlagen von Angus Young machten die Band schon sehr speziell! Dazu geile Stimmen von allen Sängern - mit Ausnahme des letzten mit Namen Axel Rose (ok ich stehe zu meiner Guns N' Roses Abneigung - in meiner Familie hab ich deswegen öfters Streit!).
Fakten zu AC/DC
Bevor es noch mehr auf die Ohren gib paar Fakten zur Band. AC/DC wurde 1973 in Australien gegründet von den Brüdern Angus und Malcolm Young - zwei gebürtige Schotten! Die Truppe zählt verdientermaßen zu den Pionieren des Hard Rock. Sehr traurig war das Jahr 1979, nachdem Sie den Megaseller Highway to Hell veröffentlichten starb der damalige Lead-Sänger Bon Scott. Eigentlich wollten sie sich auflösen als Band, aber machten mit dem neuen Sänger Brian Johnson weiter. Es folgten diverse Rock Hymnen - die Band spielt immer noch - wie in jedem meiner Posts der 2-wochen Serie nehme ich @rivalzzz auf - sag mir bitte Bescheid ob das nicht zu viel für dich wird!?

Edition 21 of Rock Classics covers an epic band, that is in every Top 10 overall related to Rock or Metal. AC/DC is playing since 1973 - they are still very passionate and fantastic live performers. My first album bought was in 1981 For Those About to Rock and I bought even more. The great Angus Brothers from Scotland founded the band in 1973 - when Bon Scott died in 1980 they wanted to retire - glad they kept it and continued with Brian Johnson as lead singer. I am not repeating in English what I mention above in German that I am not a fan of the recent lead vocalist they hired from another Rock Band - different story. Enjoy some of their other awesome chart breakers and rock hymns such as Thunderstruck, Hells Bells, T.N.T., Highway to Hell

Finally i got found something similar for the topic right here, nothing special but i can savely say it's nice to hear:
this Friend of mine way playing in an AC/DC Coverband which played all over europe and are very good booked. He is one of the lead guitarists and his Rifs while Playing are mindfreaking amazing!

2010 i was on tour with AC/DC the Black Ice World Tour, it was a amazing!!! i'm pickt up this original plektrum from the stage, angus young is playing with this. thx for memeory on this tour with your post!!

Das stimmt, aber dein Artikel hat meine Erinnerungen wieder hochleben lassen, und dann mußte ich mal in meiner Andenken Box krammen. lg

Sie haben es all die Jahre geschafft sich treu zu bleiben und der Erfolg gab ihnen recht. Ihr Name ist jedem ein Begriff.
AC/DC gehört zwar nicht zu meiner Lieblings Gruppe aber hin und wieder höre ich sie mal wieder gern.
Ich ziehe hier Judas Priest eher vor : )

Schöne Idee - mach mal - Judas war nie so meins, aber paar gute Stücke hatten die schon, der Sänger war eben speziell :-)

lang, lang ist's her und noch immer sehr gut und hörenswert.
Ich finde es heute noch schade, dass sich Bon Scott selber so ruiniert hat. Auch wenn Brian Johnson gut singt, hat er doch meiner Meinung nach nie die Klasse von Bon erreicht.
