Diya: The light!

To the world who are not well known about the country, Nepal, this post is to tell you something about the features of the Nepalese culture. Nepal is one of the richest country in terms of the culture and tradition. About 123 languages is spoken and 125 castes takes shelter in the country Nepal. Each religion and caste have their own unique characteristics.
Among those unique characteristics, burning diyo is one of them which is an oil lamp made from the clay with a cotton wick dipped in the ghee or the oil. They are temporarily used for lightening specially in some of the major festivals and poojas especially in the religions like hindu , buddist , sikh, jain etc.
