Not Only @Ned Has Delegated Over 1 MILLION SP But Also Opted Out From The Beneficiaries!
Utopian.io has a bot powered by almost 4 MILLION SP. Big part of that, over 1 MILLION SP was delegated by @ned.
What @ned did not realise is that Utopian.io gives back to the Utopian Sponsors 20% of the author rewards based on how much you delegate. As soon as @ned noticed that, he immediately rejected the profits, since he only wants to help in the Utopian.io growth and not having anything back from it.
You Also Can Opt Out
If you are a sponsor and you want to only participate to the Utopian.io growth but not share the profits, just get in touch with us on Discord. This option will be also available for new delegators directly on the Utopian Sponsors section.
By opting out the reward shares you should have received will be given to the main utopian-io account and used to upvote the contributions, therefore helping even more the growth of Utopian.io and in general the development of Open Source technologies.

@knowledges I totally agreed with you on @ned . He is looking to help the entire steem blockchain ecosystem grown and he not only refuses earnings from @utopian-io but also from all the posts he has been doing. @gold84
It's good to get the word out that you can forego profits.
I was surprised to see a big chunk of my utopian rewards go to ned. Good to see he opted out of the beneficiaries, now I can earn a bit more SBD.
love ned, love utopian, keep doing awesome stuff!
Nice gesture by @ned
I still don’t understand how all this work. Can you help me to grow?
All whales should learn from @ned . Good man.
Omg! really.. i will want sp...
@elear is shi
@Ned has shown immense commitment to the cause of steem !
So if someone declines beneficiary reward returns the 20 percent beneficiary rewards won't change and the other delegators will profit more right as far as I understand sofar ?
No @steeminator3000 that would be unfair and no sponsor would want to do that, like giving free rewards away to other sponsors. As stated above the percentage of those who opt out will be assigned to utopian-io and used to upvote the contributions. This is the fairest way.
That is pretty decent so as far as I remember ned used to own 51 percent of the beneficiary reward returns and that was 25 percent right so how this declining beneficiary reward will affect contributers or delegators I couldn't understand that part. The beneficiary reward will be 10 percent after ned didn't want profit ? I would be really glad my brain is not working well with math :D
No. 20% in total is dedicated to the sponsors based on how much they delegate. Ned was having 27.19% of that 20% dedicated to the sponsors, so practically 5.something% of all the author rewards. Since he has opted out that 5.something % will be assigned to utopian-io and the same will happen for every sponsor wishing to opt out. This amount is powered up and then used to upvote the contribution on the platform.
KOÇ @elear biri sana hiç @atli demedi mi?
