Circumcision-What male babies go through

Babies are beautiful, i call them small creatures.
They look so fragile and cute like that eh.
My love for babies is like wao.

The way they stare at things, the way they smile at every little thing you do, what amuses me most is the way they they fold their tiny arms as if they're protecting a treasure.

Well, let me not get overwhelmed by their beauty and forget about the baby boys being my concentration here today. I happen to have a mum that is medically inclined, she's a nurse anesthetist at Immanuel General Hospital Eket.

 she does circumcision at home and am always  there most times she takes out this practice. For those that don't know what circumcision is I'll try to explain a little i know 
  Circumcision is taking  off the outer covering from the private part of a male baby eight days after birth. And after this is done,  the tongue is touched so the baby can talk well/ have good English tonatation.

The mum is always not allowed to see what happens during circumcision as she'll cry seeing her babe as it happens most times.

 The mother is asked to put her breast so the breast milk can stop the flow the blood from the mouth of the babe after working on the tongue.

(the trimming off of some flesh under the tongue is done on both sex).

 Today was for baby king.  He cried with all his strength and i almost cried for him too. I witnessed his circumcision it was a bitter time for the baby boy.
