Disappeared masterpieces. Govert Flink.
"Landscape with the Obelisk" - a painting by Govert Flink, written in 1638. For a while it was even thought that this painting belongs to Rembrandt's brush.
In 1990, the painting was stolen from Isabella Stewart Gardner's private art gallery in Boston, USA.
The location of the painting is still unknown. Among the stolen paintings along with this picture were the works of Edouard Manet, Edgar Degas and the sketch of Rembrandt.
