The Wrong Type Of Snow...
Here in Britain we have been covered with quite a lot of snow in the last couple of days - we don't usually get this much.. I don't own skis because that would be pointless here most of the time.. so the least I can do is make a snow 'being'.. But alas, the snow is defective.
This snow is so powdery and soft that I can't even get it to hold together enough to make a snow finger, let alone a snow body.. If you professional snow 'thing' makers out there have any tips I am all ears!
Wishing you well,

Tomorrow (or whenever) if the weather warms up and the snow gets stickier is the snowma... I mean 'snowperson' day. It would be awesome if I only had that little bit of snow like that here. There's a 6-foot apple tree somewhere in that snow pile in my front yard. It gets tricky to manage after a little while when you run out of places to put it.
The snow people thank you for your regard for their gender or non gender states :)
wow, yes, i know that our snow here is only a small amount compared to some places.. maybe a compactor could crush it all into the size of a football and it could be shipped to the desert to help them grow plants? i'm no expert in physics, but that sounds like a business plan. lol :)
Well, the poles are going to shift soon so not surprising! Lol oh and not the ones in Poland 🤣
Oh, that is amazing..

Unfortunately we didn't get a lot of snow this year so not much fun.
You'd be able to make something of the snow after a day probably
Is this picture from your location? Looks like quite a lot of snow to me! :)
This is when I was on vacation..
It is much higher than where I live and gets a lot more snow
We had some unexpected snow in Belgium in the beginning of the week. It appeared to be industrial snow, completely different than natural snow.
The snow was formed above the industrial zones in Germany. This snow was also powdery, so besides that it was beautiful to see, it was useless :(
I see, ok - that's something I know nothing about.. Look like the eskimos now how 101 types of snow - they'll need a new word for this one. :)
Snowdery maybe?
Most of the time we snian (snow and rain) or row (rain and snow)!
We had also snow in Romania and -10°C. Lets just blame The North Pole for sending us this weather on March!
Polar bears have a lot to answer for!
It's definitely powdery snow. You could always roll around in it in a woolly jumper and then just stand there with a carrot in your mouth!
Hmm.. It's an option... yes! :)
Kids in Canada quickly learn that not all snow is packing snow, which is what you need for creature and structure building. Powdery snow is still good for snow angels, making designs and trails, toboggans and shoving people's faces into. But most people do not enjoy this last one.
hehe - yes, i get that, i just don't know what causes the different types and how i might convert one to the other :)
Lool...Snow finger? It must be really soft if it cannot make a snow finger. You need to get yourself a snowboard for days like this
How long do you reckon this freak weather will last?
I doubt it will be longer than a week in total - we shall see.
