Aquilegia Flowers
These flowers are called Aquilegia. Translated from Latin Aquilegia means "a plant that collects water". Popularly the plant is also called "elf shoes".
There are many decorative varieties with a wide variety of colors. The color can be white, yellow, pink, scarlet, purple, crimson, blue, black-purple. The structure and shape of the flowers are truly unique.
At the tip of each shoot, a single drooping flower blooms. There can be up to 12 of them per plant. In the center is a fairly massive column, densely covered with short stamens. The buds bloom in turn from the beginning of summer. Each flower lives for about a week, and then it is replaced by the next.
I like the originality of this flower, it is not like many others. This is its exquisite charm and beauty.
