Intimacy

Intimacy... the feeling, a gentle touch, a kind act. Intimacy... sometimes you don't ask for it and it's just forced towards you, why do people not understand that sometimes intimacy is just not wanted in that moment. Why can't people respect boundaries...my heart hurts, it hurts because I thought I was strong enough to say no. But yet here I am, a little bit of my soul has died, some may think i'm being dramatic, but if you understand my mind and the things I've been through maybe you would understand. So think to yourself, what is intimacy to you? Because to me it's the small things, a gentle touch of the hand, a kiss of the forehead... but sometimes people just don't respect you enough to not push your boundaries. I just wish there were more kind people in the world.
