Tuesday Orange - Mums and Pizza!

Tuesday Orange

Orange is a wonderful color. It is full of energy and exuberance, and can be found in some of the most wonderful of places. Being in my hometown these days is always a little bittersweet. My grandfather and uncle passed away 3 years ago, and the memory of them fills my home here. Orange was my uncle's favorite color, so this day's challenge had me thinking of him a lot.

There wasn't too much true orange that I could find for pics, but in homage to the transitions of life - the following things give me the sense of orange...perhaps a bit red, perhaps a bit yellow, but in the spaces between that vibrant life-affirming color is revealed.

These mums remind me of sunsets and fire flames

And one of my favorite parts of my visits home...

New York Pizza.
