Where Has Mushroomhead Been - New Album 2020

Formed in 1993 as a side project, Cleveland industrial nu metal band Mushroomhead became stars overnight when they played their second show ever opening for GWAR in front of a capacity crowd of two thousand people. Founded by the original member Steve "Skinny" Felton (drummer), the band has gone through an extensive line-up before settling on their current roster of seven members in addition to stage performance artist Jessica "Roxy" Haney which makes eight. Roxy is an original member of the Cleveland, Ohio based band Mushroomhead.

Mushroomhead's self-titled debut album was released in 1995 and included the original members in no particular order; Jeff Hatrix, Jason Popson, Richie Moore, John Sekula, Joe Kilcoyne, Steve Felton, Tom Schmitz and Joe Lenkey. The band has made seven studio albums and sold over two million units worldwide since 1995.

After releasing their 2001 album titled "XX" through Eclipse Records, Mushroomhead signed with Universal Records the same year and was remastered and released internationally.

In 2005, the band signed with Megaforce Records and they released their "Savior Sorrow" album on September 19th 2006 where the album debuted at number 45 on the Billboard 200, exceeding 12,000 units. On May 13th 2014, Mushroomhead released their latest album titled "The Righteous & The Butterfly".

Mushroomhead is now signed with Napalm Records in 2019 and started working on their new album set for a release in early spring of 2020. As of July, of last year the band announced that the album was 80% complete with vocals put down at Abbey Road Studios. A DVD titled "Volume III" has been released and can be ordered through Amazon.
