Dota 2 Change Expected in 2018!
Yo guys, 2017 has been a full year "storm" for Dota2. This is a Dota2 change that would have been waiting for many fans in 2018!
Dota 2 has evolved in such a way especially since the 7.xx patch is quite significant. Although the direction has been seen, but there are still many changes expected by Dota 2 fans!
IT 7 has passed and meta has also changed a lot. The presence of Dota Pro Circuit seems to also lack the expected hype, precisely many who assume the density of the schedule to eliminate the impression of "challenging" compared to the three major systems and one IT as before.
Beyond that, what is the expected change from Dota 2 fans? These are some of the expected changes!
Matchmaking Needs Improvement

Obviously many Dota2 fans have been complaining to Valve of their matchmaking system. Whether it's because players are dealing with other players who have absolutely no similar skills, or have to wait for a very long matchmaking queue.
With the introduction of a new system that is season rank system, basically Valve does not change anything in terms of matchmaking.
They introduced a striking new "badge", with a more ambiguous system and even abandoned the MMR numbers that most players are already very familiar with. The point is that we now can not see the progress we have achieved so well.
Unfortunately, no fundamental changes have been made to the matchmaking system itself, so classic issues like the old queue time, unfair games, or paired with toxic players are commonplace in the game.
Gamplay Rush Is Rarely Visible

While watching The Summit 8, one of the tournaments at the end of 2017, it is evident that the rush is no longer running smoothly. The emergence of heroes such as Medusa and Morphling as top tier pick makes it difficult to play with fast gameplay.
Even one of the professional players from the Virtus Pro team, Illya "Lil" llyuk said that it makes no sense anymore to play with the rush gameplay because the team will easily hit the counter or comeback.
It is undeniable that the teams are now more comfortable playing in the meta instead of creating a new meta like rush game due to the demands for a huge win. It is very unlikely that we will encounter a crazy pick like the one in the IT Times 1-3 era or the Wings Gaming on TI 6!
Give more Weight to Pro Circuit Minor

Although Valve currently has a number of interesting Dota2 tournaments to watch, it still feels as though the gap between Minor and Major tournaments is too significant.
With only 300 Pro Circuit point for Minor and 1500 for Major, it feels totally disproportionate. And it seems almost as if the Minor tournament is useless in the overall process and qualifying sequence for The International 2018 season.
Although the amount is already set in such a way, but the density of the schedule to make the focus of the players and even the audience should be divided in such a way to choose Pro Circuit tournament wisely.
With the adjustment of points, of course minor tournaments will be more competitive and also attract the attention of the audience!
Bring Back the Techies

December 12, 2016 marked a "bleak" day for Techies hero fans in the Dota 2 pro scene. It's been over a year since #IceFrog decided to pull Techies from Captain Mode.
The recent Elimination Mode tournament shows how powerless Techies are as heroes. So what's wrong if Valve or IceFrog re-enter this hero into Captain Mode?
