This insect is a master of disguise!
I was taking a photo of a hibiscus flower when I saw this grasshopper. This grasshopper is above the leaf just below the hibiscus flower that I photographed.

I didn't notice it right away because it matched the color of the leaf it was perched on. I only realized there was something on the leaf when the grasshopper moved slightly. Luckily it didn't jump far. So I had the opportunity to take a photo of it.

I thought it was eating when I saw it, because there are some edible parts of the leaf where this grasshopper is perched. Thanks for dropping by!
