West Wittering Beach
Yesterday was one of the hottest days of the year so far at 92 degrees ☀️ I went to visit West Wittering, which was super packed but if you walked about 20 minutes onto East head (owned by the national trust) you had almost the whole place yourself! Crazy how few people are willing to walk a mile for almost unspoilt white sands.
East head is one of the last surviving pieces of natural coastline in West Sussex and an example of the rare and fragile, yet dynamic, sand-dune habitat.
I also went to see east wittering but it’s pretty disappointing as it is a pebble beach that is also packed.
