It was the last Sunday in the month of April. My church was hosting a program, and I was among the presenters of the show. I and the other presenters gathered in the backstage dressing room to try out our dresses. I was just thinking over which dress to wear and which would fit me until I spotted Monica in her yellow gown.

"Wow, Monica, this is beautiful." Just as I grabbed my red dress and tried it on, Monica turned to me and said, "You are perfect!" After all, no one has ever given me such a sincere compliment before.

But I wondered if my definition of perfect was the same as Monica's because I wasn't anything close to perfect, but she told me that I'm perfect.

How can one person see me as perfect, but I do not see that? If I ever saw myself as perfect, I would never want to change it. Even though I was dreaming, I wouldn't want to wake up. I would have nothing to strive for if I were perfect.

Monica was not the only one who gave me such compliments. I received more perfect compliments from some other people after the show. They looked perfect to me, but they refused to see that they were perfect but noticed just me as perfect.

My parents taught me that no one is perfect but God, so since I see God as perfect, I believe no one can be perfect. Although I lived a life that I call perfect with my parents. A life where all my needs were met is perfect for me.

Over the years, I learned never to give up on my dreams and aspirations and to also make my family proud because achieving them would guarantee me a perfect life.

Perfect for me means no mistake, no omission, no wrongs, no fault, but I wonder how people see me as perfect. How they see no mistakes, no errors, no wrongs but perfect. Do you think they are just making fun of me? Do you think they are all lying? Well, I live my life just the way I want it, and I know it's not perfect, but to others it's perfect.

If I am perfect, I won't worry in life, I won't seek help from anyone, and I won't take advice from anyone. My life would just be the right definition of perfect. Life would be so easy and sweet, I would be living my perfect dream life.

If I were perfect, I would view life from another perspective. I would even turn to God because I am perfect in all my ways and doings. People would worship my perfection because that is all they would see.

My perfect life would be so easy for me to sleep and wake at anytime. Have all the necessary things of life and enjoy all my desires. I would be seen as flawless, with no stains and no errors.

In life, no one can ever be perfect. I can't keep dreaming about something that would never happen. Let me wake up to reality, where no one is perfect. God remains the only perfect.

When we talk about perfect, we talk about God. Perfect is his watchword. He is perfect in his decisions, perfect in his judgment, perfect in his mercy, perfect in his love.

He is just the only one that knows how to love in a perfect way. When he loves, he loves with all perfection. Perfect is God, and God is perfect.
