The A-Spot is located high up in the innermost point of the vagina, (the anterior or front wall if she’s facing you.) It’s in front of, and above the cervix. If you continue on the anterior surface beyond the G-spot you'll round the bend to the back side of the pubic bone and the cervix. The cervix is the innermost spot of the vagina and should be handled very delicately. The cervix is the narrow part that protrudes slightly into the vagina, leaving a circular recess around itself. The front part of this recess is called the anterior fornix, and where you want to go. Pressure on it often produces rapid lubrication of the vagina, even in women who are not normally sexually responsive. To probe this zone an A-spot (AFE) vibrator should be long, thin and curved upward towards its end. Ideally it should be longer than your typical curved tip G-spot vibrator.

The A-spot is also referred to as the Epicentre, AFE-zone, Anterior Fornix Erogenous Zone, Cul-de-Sac and Vaginal Fornix. This is a patch of sensitive tissue at the inner end of the vaginal tube between the cervix and the bladder. It’s often described as the 'female degenerated prostate'. (Thus it's the female equivalent of the male prostate, just as the clitoris is the female equivalent of the male penis.) Direct stimulation of this spot can produce:

• Violent orgasmic contractions
• The sensation of needing to pee
• Female ejaculation
• Irritation
• Do nothing at all.
