Introduction

Oh, death, where is your victory, Death, where is your sting? I know you won't be forever as the above statement made it clear. You have dealt with me, and if I have the power, I would have done away with you since. You have stabbed me so hard, and I know one day you will be permanently eliminated.

If you had the power to permanently erase one thing from the world, what would it be and why?

If I have the power to permanently erase one thing from the world, I will erase death. Death is inevitable. it has no mercy on humans, and once it knocks on a person's door, him or her must surely answer whether young or old, man or woman, rich or poor.

The reason why I want to erase death permanently if I have the power is because death has snatched so many people from me. I had lost three siblings to the cold hand of death and two other members of my extended family. It was not easy to handle the dead of my brother and sisters but with the help of my creator who gives hope that one day the death will be brought to nothing keeps me going, knowing that death will be done away with under God's kingdom.

If death is removed, we will not suffer the consequences of it anymore. Imagine my nephew growing up to know that he has no mother and has no idea of what his mother looks like, and my niece growing up to see herself as an orphan because neither the father nor the mother is alive.

Many people, especially young ones, passed through a lot as a result of losing their father or mother. I have known of a lot of school dropouts as a result of death, snatching their sponsors and parents.

How will its absence positively affect society, nature, and mankind? Please explain .

If there is no more death, society will be happy. We will be happy to grow up with our loved one, always seeing them around. Children will not be seen roaming around the street begging because they have no parents. End to death means end to suffering, end to poverty, and so on. Children will grow up to see their parents who are healthy and strong, taking care of them both physically, emotionally, mentally and otherwise.
Death does not only affect human beings, it does affect plants and animals too. So if death is removed permanently, we will continue to enjoy those fruit bearing plants as well as beautiful flowers that beautify our surroundings.

What substitutes can we use to prevent all subsequent destruction?

To prevent subsequent destruction of death, I think we should eat healthy, exercising regularly, and reduce the consumption of alcohol which can lead to many health issues.
We have to visit the hospital when we are sick, get diagnosed by a professional, and stick to the advice of the medical doctor.

Adhere to safety precautions, use a seat belt when driving, and avoid texting while driving.
Eat more fruits and vegetables and avoid late night food. Always put on a smile at all times because a smile is a good medicine.

Conclusion

I am sure and confident in the hope that one day, we will see our dead love one coming back to love and that there will be an end to death. This hope keeps me going, irrespective of the number of people I have lost to the cold hand of death.
