What do you understand by August Break?

August Break is known to be a period where students, teachers, and some workers have break from their busy schedule to relief themselves from stress and burnout.

For Students:

This is a period of relaxing and rejuvenating their body after a long and stressful academic year.
This period also give students the time and opportunity to pursue their interest and aquire more skills and also on their own exploring new subjects without being pressured by school.
They also use this period to prepare themselves for next academic year.

For Teachers:

It is during this period teacher have a long and well deserved rest from demanding school work.
Some teachers use August break to pursue and aquire more skill and enhancement in their field of studies.
They also carefully planned and prepare for the next academic year while recharging their energy after work stress and burnout.
Teachers also use this period called August break to visit places of interest and pursuing of personal projects.

Mention 5 things you'll do during this Holiday

There are so many things that comes to my mind which I would have love to do during this Holiday.
But for the sake of this contest, I would mention just five which are:

• Travelling and exploring: I will like to plan a trip to visit my family members and my long rime friends whom I have not seen for a long time and also explore new places.

• Spending quality time with the people I love: I would love to organize get-together inviting my friends and my family members s9 that we can eat, drink, play some games together, watch movies and also share our achievements, experiences and failure and see how we can encourage one another.

• Learning something new: I would like to register in an online courses like web design and development, attend workshops in my field of studies and also learn recipes that will enhance my cooking skills and coding.

• Pursuing new hobbies: Sometimes it is good to add new hobbies to our hobbies list. I have plans to add painting to my drawing hobby, make writing in steemit a hobby as this will help me to be more active despite my busy schedule and playing of music are the new hobbies I will like to pursue this holiday.

• I will like to relax and recharge burn energy: In all that I do, self care is one of the things I will prioritize this Holiday and as such I will relax, exercise, meditate to rejuvenate myself.
  I will focus more on activities that gives me joy and relaxation.

What plans do you have for the break?

• Just like I have somehow mentioned above, I will like to watch my favourite movies and television programmes and read books that will help me in my career development.

• I will like to try and learn new recipes to improve my cooking skills.

• I will spend quality time with friends and family.

What challenges do you have enjoying this break?

For now, I have some common challenges while trying to enjoy this break.

1. I have some when it comes to finances not having not resources to plan and enjoy this break as I had wished to. My budget do not meet up with my plans.
2. My family obligations has made it hard for me to enjoy my break, always being too tired and burnout even when the kids are in holiday trying to balance family responsibilities, break and work is somehow hard.
