I am also excited to my make entry and give my opinion, views and rating about technology especially how it has affected the life of our kids. It will go along way to help both adults and kids in their use of technology. Please read below to know my stand about technology.
An overview of how technology has impacted the world as a whole.
Life can be very boring and uninteresting without technology. Though technology sometimes has both good and bad impact in the world today. Imagine working an hour or two to go and deliver a message which cell phones has made it easier for us today and without stress. Technological advancement help in economic development. Technological advancement has helped solve the problem of electricity to some extent. In those days when there was no electricity, people suffer a lot in terms of power supply, food preservation and laundry. The Invention of solar energy which provide human with renewable power supply has really been a solution to solve societal problem.
Technology has help in the educational sector by providing students and teachers with first class teaching aids both audio and audio visual such as projector, computers, internet, videos and not more.
Today students go online with the help of technology to you do research and solve some educational tasks. Some of our verified kids in this community with the help of technology go online to research and answer their homework tasks.
Technology has also help in the medical field by providing the specialist modern machines for diagnosing and proper treatment.
Lot of merchants today make good use of the technology by advertising their goods online.

Personal experience with technology
I am a bonafide beneficiary of technology. The smartphone I am using for stealing is as a result of technological advancement as well as the internet.
Technology had help me during my research project in school to gather the information in which on my own would have been possible to get.
Religiously, during the covid-19 pandemic I made use of video conferencing for a religious meeting which enable me to see my brothers and sisters and also have an interchange of encouragement through zoom cloud meetings.
My one year old child who has not yesterday school has been able to recite some rhymes, poems and names of alphabet with the help of technology. This is possible through the videos she watches in television and on smartphones and tablets.
I have so many interesting experiences with technology.
Some of the positivity and negativity of technology in kids' lives.
Since we are living in the world that nearly everything that has advantage also have disadvantage.
Technology cannot be left out in this aspect it has both positive and negative impact on kids.
Positivity
Like our earlier mentioned, technology has helped kids in many ways:
Technology has helped kids in solving problems on their own and enhance creativity. With the help of the internet, smartphones and computers, kids have been able to use it to solve their homework tasks, do further reading and make research.
Technology has developed problem solving skills in kids. By going online to do research, they are developing how to solve problems on their own without burdening the parents.
Technology sometimes can be a lifesaver to kids. If the life of a child is in danger him or her with the help of technology can send messages or phone the parents to know that he is in emergency.
Some educational games and exercises available online boost kid's strategic thinking skills and helps them to grow intellectually. That is to say, it development thier problem solving skills.
Negativity
The following can be said to be there negative impact of technology in kid's life.
Low academic performance because of spending much time on the screen forgetting to do it or her home work and meditating on what was taught in school. Technology sometime consume their reading time and thereby making kids not to perform well academically.
Most kids always develop aggressive behaviour wanting to act like the cartoon characters they watch.
It can cause eyestrain. This is because prolonged use of technological gadgets like smartphones laptop and tablet can blurred vision and dry eyes. It can lead to headache, shoulder and neck pain.
My rating for the impact of technology in kids' life? Highly positive or negative?
I will love rate the impact of technology on kids life positive. This is because when used in moderation the positive impacts will supersedes the negative impacts. And with the thousands benefits of technology we have in the world today. I strongly believe the impact of technology should be rated positively.
It has helped them academically.
It has helped them in brian development (intellectually)
It has help kids to be proactive with problem solving skills. Etc
Controlling over the exposure of kids to certain technological products?
Wow! This is a very interesting part. We parents have a lot to do in respect to our exposure to technological products.
- We have to live by examples. Limit the time we spent surfing the net and fiddling our phones and tablets.
- Set time limits in our kid's technological products.
- Deactivate some applications and programmes in thier phones and computer.
- Do not leave them unsupervised, letting them know that we are care about them and what they do with their technological products.

- To help them benefits from some of the control measure we put, we should have show tell them we love and cherish them and as sure wouldn't want them to be trapped by technological world.
Conclusion
Technology has really make life interesting and easier for both young and old today. It has helped us some most of our problems with ease. Life can be so boring and uninteresting without technology. What will used to publish post on steemit? Oh no, I dont think I can do without technology. It has really been helpful and the kids have benefited from technology right from infant.
Technology does more good than bad.

I get that the jet age is boring without the internet or rather technology, but its use must be considered, for children appropriate measures must be put in place to refer them from any form of inappropriate content or activities onscreen,
Limits should be put in place for children on screen, we know that they want to be online every time because they are bored or something, but for a better future, their time onscreen should be scheduled in a very less or more time

It is very true when you say that children see a boring life when they do not have technology at their disposal, it generates an attractive effect with which they can navigate to that world that is creating and that keeps their mental activity active, changing considerably their mood.

Seriously, modern life can be boring without technology.
Why are they bored? We as parents also have to look at this condition, in the past there were no gadgets but children are growing smarter and more active nowadays.
We should have time and play with them and also not spend time completely with our gadgets too...

My son always complains about being bored when he doesnt have his phone to play games.i have tried fighting it and engaging him in other activities but failed.i am worried about his love for technology when his still young.
